Leaflines Framed Leaves

Each leaf is hand-treated to reveal its inner lacy design, and arranged in a frame chosen for its quiet elegance and for its enhancement of the leaf's complex natural pattern. Each arrangement is unique, and each arrangement will last for years.
NOTE: Our leaf choices vary, so not all leaf types are in stock at any one time. Leaf and frame choices are pictured below.

FRAME Choices (at left, L to R) - Walnut Burl, Maple Burl, Green Burl, Redwood Burl. (The Walnut Burl and Green Burl have a rounded look, while the Maple Burl and Redwood Burl are flat in front and edged with black. The Maple and Redwood Burls are the most popular colors. The flat front style also comes in plain Black.)

LEAF Choices (at left, L to R) - Norway Maple, White Oak, Japanese Maple, Sugar Maple, and Aspen (shown at right). (Norway Maple and Sugar Maple are very similar in appearance, while Japanese Maple is has much thinner segments.) Other occasionally available leaves are shown below left. Care of your framed leaves:

The leaves should last a very long time if kept dry -- Mr. Morey has some that are older than 14 years that are still quite flexible. The colors may change depending on the heat and amount of direct sunlight. They have tried to make the colors more permanent, using colors that last longer than the dyes that Nature uses in the original leaf.

The frame and matting assembly may be taken apart for cleaning. Instructions are provided with each piece, as is a short description of the role leaves play in the life of a tree, and a sample leaf that you can handle.

P.S. From the Webmaster...I apologize for capturing mine and the camera's reflections in a couple of the photos, but the best way to show the delicate structure of these beautiful framed leaves is sometimes head-on!
