My mother often made oatmeal cookies when I was growing up, because the ‘good’ oatmeal justified her eating those delicious baked goodies. “They’re good for you…they have oatmeal in them!” These days, a crispy oatmeal cookie does almost feel like a good-for-you treat. You just have to know when to stop eating them!

White Chocolate and Jam S’mores

I’m so excited to post this recipe – which isn’t so much a new recipe as a regular S’more with fabulous new ingredients. Doesn’t that picture look good? Think about it: crispy chocolate graham crackers surrounding melty-good white chocolate, tart raspberry jam and a toasty marshmallow. Pardon me…I was drooling a bit there. Another fab recipe from the folks at Stonewall Kitchen.

While I was looking through our older recipes for an accompaniment to this main course, I found a Summer Bean Salad recipe which uses as an ingredient…Maple Chipotle Grille Sauce! It was meant to be! (I think I need to buy some of that sauce on my way out tonight…)
